The first edition black & brass Chicago oval badge dates this piece between 1956-1959
Overall this drum is in very good condition. The shell is structurally sound and the edges are clean. Modern heads fit on nicely.
The hardware appears to be era correct and is in good working condition. There is a mix of nickel and chrome T rods and claws. Some of the T handles have minor bending. Spur mounts work well, one of them was tapped for a larger screw. Era correct spurs, one nickel & one chrome.
The gold sparkle finish is vibrant and very clean. Wrap is holding well at the seams and free of cracks.
Mahogany interior is clean. There is just a touch of glue under where the rail is mounted.
Complete and ready to go.
