Overall this kit is in very good used condition. Structurally sound, complete, and in excellent working order.
Undersized maple shells are in excellent condition with clean original bearing edges. The drums all take modern heads easily.
The finish looks great and is very clean. The wrap on all the drums is holding nicely at the seams and free of any cracks or splits. Finish shows some mild scratches and scuffs around the kit. Bass drum hoops are lacquered and have some standard pedal wear and scratches.
Hardware is all in very good working condition. The chrome on drums is in very good condition with some standard surface scratches and scuffs along with some very mild speckled pitting. Bass drum claws have a bit of rust.
PLEASE NOTE: The 14" comes with the original rims mount & bracket just like the 12". The floor tom basket shown in the photos is not functional and is not included. Apologies for the confusion, we discovered the issue after the photos were taken. The sale includes two Gibraltar L arms and clamps to mount the toms.
Overall this kit is a great example of the early era of DW drums.
